Potentially. A GIDI field project can be structured to produce an asset register, baseline, intervention record, performance indicators, MRV plan, budget and replication pathway. These materials can strengthen a grant or sustainable-finance application, but they do not guarantee eligibility, approval, a green classification or financing terms.

Define the public or financial outcome
State whether the project targets energy efficiency, pollution reduction, worker exposure, equipment life, innovation demonstration or another eligible objective.
Build a defensible budget
Separate product, deployment, monitoring, independent verification, reporting, training and scale-up costs.
Show additionality and replication
Explain what the funding enables, why normal operations would not deliver the same evidence and how the protocol can be repeated.
Use careful language
Say ‘may support an application’ until the funding authority or finance provider confirms program eligibility.
