No. GIDI does not claim that a machine, engine or fluid has EU Stage V type approval unless an authorized body formally issues the relevant approval. GIDI’s role is to support field improvement and measurement for existing engines through engine identification, baseline testing, controlled deployment and an independent MRV package.
